[Phoenix] Wright? Obviously gay.

Now I'm curious...

Thanks to my occasional, random habit of turning off the alarm in the morning, we both got up an hour late, went into work an hour late, and now I'm getting home an hour late. But I've had a bit of a roller-coaster few days, Idgie's Phoenix voice has returned, and DDD Secrets are tomorrow so I'm in a really good mood for now. Gonna try to catch up on old tags, put up some threads, then OMFG MAKE MORE SECRETS, and I may be on AIM at some point in the evening. But the events of the RP Anon Meme got me thinking, so now I'd like to pose a question to you guys! (Dear Tallest, that was a lot of commas...)

[Phoenix] Peaceful moment.

...Two posts in less than a month? Apocalypse is nigh!

Warning: RP ramblings ahead.

You know you've been RPing WAY too long when you're talking about several months your character spent abroad, but you find yourself saying, "those months that I spent in Paris." WTF, brain. WTF.

After a RP*Secret helped me to get my ass in gear, I went and had Edgeworth comment on Maraich's post last night, and it was good. And Idgie and I finished a ridiculously gay thread with our boys this morning. I think Edgeworth is coming back strong. Yays! I'm going to try and play catch-up this week, or this weekend at the latest (before and/or after finally going to see The Dark Knight) while having him comment to new things here and there, and there are still some private posts and private RLs I need to do for him and whee, let's try for some more burnout! :Db

I'm achy and sore, but not as achy and sore as poor Idgie. :( Still don't know how much I'll be able to get done tonight before crashing, though. Sigh.

/RP ramblings

In other news, emeryl is trying to help us learn Japanese. I'm extremely excited! And also kinda weirded out that Mt. Sac (lol) actually has a class on 'Japanese for Anime.' Whut?
[Phoenix] SCARY!

I can has earthquake?

HOMG SHE'S POSTING IN HER JOURNAL. Yeah, I'm not dead. Sorry for my fail in keeping up with anything not RP related guys, srsly.

So as Idgie already mentioned, I just got to experience my first decent-sized quake, which is worth commemorating with a Livejournal post. It was a 5.4 in Chino Hills, which is...about 10 miles from my offices, I think, and about 5 from Idgie's office. It lasted maybe...I dunno, 30 or 45 seconds, maybe a minute tops. It wasn't a rolling quake (which is apparently different from a shaking quake, who knew?) and where I was it seemed like a pretty steady intensity throughout, with just a few little spikes while it was tapering off.

I went by the break room as soon as it was over and the drawers were hanging open a bit, and one of the grids over the ceiling lights was hanging down, heh. What little stuff I had on my cubicle walls was all over my desk, and I heard some people got their monitors broken when things fell on them. They had us all go out to the parking lot after, and we stood around trying to get signal (every cell service seemed to be down, and T-Mo was spotty for at least an hour after) until they did head counts and then told us to stay out of the building until 2. I sat in my car for a while trying to contact my family and planning with Idgie...

Long story short, I was home about 4 hours early enjoying some sushi with Idgie, and I don't have to go back. :D So for everyone waiting, there WILL be tags later!! Soon as I relax a little and we help Idgie's mom put her closet together. (She just had her closet remade so we were going to put everything back in it this weekend but didn't get a chance. What a lucky coincidence!) Luckily hardly any of our stuff fell, though we had a tiny casualty with Idgie's NBC snow globe and her mom lost a few pieces of her fine china and crystal wine glasses. :/ Oops, closet tiem. Later!

Is it absolutely pathetic that one of the first things BOTH of us thought of after making sure everyone was okay, was 'Hey, we should totally see if the other PW peeps want to do a major earthquake plot at some point!' >_>;;
[MINI] My MINI is love.

HO SHI-

YOU GUYS. YOU GUYS! MY CAR OFFICIALLY HAS A NAME.

My MINI Cooper is named... THE MASSIVE.

The name is all Idgie's, and she's awesome for coming up with it. Vanity license plates are called for, I think.

Also, Idgie's new car is fucking beautiful.

Also also, it's our five year anniversary today! YAYS!! [loves on Idgie]
[MINI] My MINI is love.

Okay, one more MINI picspam...

Finally got my MINI decorated the way I want it, so a last little batch of pictures. My poor car is very dirty right now, so ignore that. I don't want to go get it washed because I still have to take it back to the dealership to paint the tiny dings on the passenger door, and I'm going to make them clean it because they didn't when I bought the thing. XP

Anyone in the Azusa or LA area looking to buy a MINI or BMW, I wouldn't recommend Assael of Monrovia. Well...the BMW side wasn't so bad, but the Assael side didn't leave me very pleased with the process of buying a car. -_-;;; They left us alone for about 30-45 minutes at a time, up in dude's office. They didn't offer us drinks. They just weren't very friendly or engaging. If they hadn't had the EXACT MINI that I wanted I probably wouldn't have bought from them. Once I did buy from them, they didn't wash the car and they only filled the gas tank halfway. I mean, come on, people!! Someone's spending $30,000 on a car and you can't fill the damn tank?!?! O_o I mean, it costs $40 to fill that tank with Plus. A customer might not notice if you fill the tank up, but they sure as hell are gonna notice if you're a cheap-ass and only fill it halfway. What kind of customer service is that? I'm glad I got the maintenance plan too, or I'd have to buy new windshield wipers already because the ones on there now are crap. I'm half expecting them to be stupid about replacing them too, considering the service they've shown so far.

But ANYWAY, none of it matters in the long run because I have a MINI and it is awesome.

Also, my GIR antenna topper is gone. ;_____; I've had that topper since years before I actually had a car to put it on, and it stayed on my Neon for two years! I don't know whether it just fell off or someone took it, for who knows what reason. It makes me very sad though. :( Now I need a new topper. But my GIR one was so cute. [sniffle]

Edit: We also bought things when we went to the mall today. Death Note Vol. 2, Death Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Case, and Death Note DVD Volume 1. I blame our DN players at DDD for being so damn awesome. ♥
