"AAH! You killed the kaiser!"
"Crap! You killed my sexy husband!"
"Oops! Dart in your neck!"
"It's like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!"
"Where's all the glass?"
"Broke it all...I feel empty."
Man those were good episodes last night. That Bjork one is one of my all-time favorites.
I realized today that the Underworld CD sounds like it's right out of Silent Hill half the time. Interesting.
So I went to the haunted maize the other night! From August to the end of October, there's a giant maze cut out of a cornfield here, out near Shelby Farms. See? And every October, Friday and Saturday nights it becomes a haunted maze, with people in costume sneaking around and jumping out at you and fog and all kinds of good, fun stuff. Trey and his friend Zach and mom and I all went Saturday night, and had a great time!
It took about an hour to get through the maze, which is pretty good, about the average time. We only really went the wrong way once or twice; they have ten posts, set throughout the maze, with questions and possible answers on them. Answer correctly and it tells you which direction to turn. Which really doesn't help too much, because half the time the right direction leads right to another fork, but still. The people in costume were pretty fun. The costumes were mostly ordinary ones you can get at any Party City or even Wal-Mart, but sneaking around and jumping out at you from behind a dark wall of cornstalks they have a bit more effect. Our favorite was most definitely Death, we hung around him for about five minutes...then we got turned around and had to come back...at which point, he was GONE! [PSAG!] We didn't run into him again [sigh], but the last guy we ran into, oooh...
The entire time we were running the maze, we kept hearing, occasionally, a chainsaw going off in the background, from different areas of the thing. Disconcerting, to say the least. We finally came to one of the last questions, one about Jason Vorhees, and wander down a long long row...and suddenly, out of nowhere, the chainsaw starts up right beside us! OMG! We ran like scared little bitches XD. I barely even got to turn around, and glimpsed only a tiny hint of chainsaw before sprinting like Pietro on crack. Jason, for it was Jason, chased after us; this I know only because the sounds kept coming, as the ground was uneven enough to require my eyes on it while running. There was another group of people behind us, and they kinda stopped after a few seconds, so I figure, oh good, Jason's stopping and going back for the next group.
Hell no. Even as I pause the noise keeps coming, and the bastards are just sitting there watching us run our arses off XD. Oh well, I probably would've done the same if I wasn't trying to keep up with mom and the kids. Jason didn't stop until we reached the end of the ridiculously long row (which was longer than any row in the whole damn maze, heh) and then we wandered down the next one, panting and laughing and saying we wanted to go back and watch it again. Which I may do, next time I go (I've so got to take Tim, he's got a ridiculously accurate sense of direction from the video games, AND he'd probably just stand around and stare at the costumed guys, which would be muy amusing).
It wasn't long after that that we found the exit, but the second-best part of the evening happened then. Zach told me that while we were in the maze, I SCARED someone. Apparently I didn't even notice, but some kid came around a corner at one point, got one look at me (in my Carrot-holding-blood-stained-sword shirt, black pants, black boots, black-with-red-wings-on-the-shoulders leather trenchcoat) and freaked out, thinking I was one of the maze monsters XD. HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA!!!! SCORE! Which led me to think I want to come audition to be a scarer there next year. All I'd need to do would be dress like I always do, add some good fangs and stage-blood dripping profusely down my chin, and sneak around the maze, hissing and growling at the hapless souls that are wandering around aimlessly. OMG what fun that would be!!! I definitely plan to do that if they're back again next year, and I think they're supposed to be.
While there we all signed up for a free audition from one of those modeling/acting agencies. It's probably one of those places that charge you for classes and stuff, but it'll be fun to at least do the whole audition thing, I've been to one of those before and got to meet Butch Patrick, Eddie Munster XD. He invited me to lunch while mom was doing...uh, I guess an audition of her own or something. (I was like ten, so sue me XD.)
Ooooh, Bridgieness! May post Chapter 12 of BIGH to FFN and stuff tonight, but right now...[hops off to be with her babeh]
