[Phoenix] X-Files Edgeworth.
I just saw a commercial for a Honda hard-top convertible. No, not that kind of hard-top. Like, the top of the car actually separates into pieces and folds back into the trunk or something O_o. Whoa.

Payday, Casual Day, and Cinco de Mayo (aka, day when they give us chips and salsa :D) tomorrow. Huzzah! And in another couple weeks, it'll be bring your cat to work day! I missed out on bring your dog to work day, but I like cats better anyway so nyah ^_^.

I finished the entire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy today. HHGTTG; So Long and Thanks for All the Fish; Life, the Universe, and Everything; Restaurant at the End of the Universe; the short story Zaphod Plays it Safe; and, last but not least, Mostly Harmless. I borrowed the whole thing when Bryan left it here, and wow.

Okay, that was a hell of a ride. I knew it was brilliant, I'd read the first book several times over the years. But dayumn. WTF was up with the ending?!! OMG they all DIED?!! ;_; Unless that wasn't the LAST book, or I misread it or something (as I've been reading it in between calls at work :D.) But dude, omg!!! First Marvin, then they come to a great climax and the planet gets fucking DESTROYED AGAIN?!! SOB CRY WANGST ;_;. That was sad, but appropriate. And yes, it was as wonderful a series as I knew it would be. No one ever did or ever will write quite like Douglas Adams. [moment of respectful silence]

It made me so happy, and I laughed at their pain, then the ending made me so sad ;_;. Oh, and where the hell did Zaphod go? I think there was some mention of him in the beginning of Mostly Harmless, then that was it, and I couldn't figure out if the short story was supposed to be set during that time or before the series or what? Anyone want to clue me in? XD

http://www.constrictors.com/Collection/BallPythons/PiebaldBallPython.html - I knew I wanted one of these from the moment I saw them, but they've come down considerably in price, from $10,000 to $4,000. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford one :D.

http://www.constrictors.com/Collection/BallPythons/GhostBallPython.html - This one's beautiful too, and not nearly as expensive, though FAR more expensive than just a plain old Ball (which are wonderful and gorgeous in their own right, of course.)

http://www.constrictors.com/Collection/BallPythons/BlackEyedLeucisticBallPython.html - OMG I WOULD KILL FOR ONE OF THESE. They're so fucking beautiful. Look at those pictures. They've even got GAMBIT EYES! O_O The price isn't even listed though, and considering another type on there is $20,000, this one must be, like, $60,000 or something. Bit much. ;_; Actually, I can't seem to find a price for these on any site, despite the fact that all the other balls have prices readily available, up to $40,000. I don't know if the absence of price is because no one has them at the moment, or because they're just THAT fucking expensive :D. But apparently they're, like, the cadillac of balls, understandably so. SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL.

Isn't it though?! I would name him Gambit :D

I'd name him SEXY because he is very SEXY

Ahahahaha, "cadillac of balls". I'm such a guy.

ANYWAY, yeah, that last one's incredible. Yowza. If I didn't have two ferrets, I'd probably have a snake. I dated a girl with a python once and I probably paid more attention to her snake than to, uh, her. XD;;

I'm still wary about living with anything that could KILL you, so I'd never get a really large python or boa. But Ball (or Royal) pythons are, like, the perfect size. They only get up to about 6, maybe 7 feet long, if I recall. And a snake would have to be 8 feet + to strangle a person, so it's all good [snerk]. And they're so pretty, their patterns are beautiful and I love the shape of their heads and eyes. My Dahlia was such a sweetie too, so docile. She used to watch TV with me. :D

You're right, though, snake and ferret don't mix XD. You should get pet insurance for your ferrets! Hee. Then maybe if you had to call about a question, you'd get to talk to me :D.

Ah, I feel the same about the ending of HHGTTG, it's a real let-down. From what I've heard Douglas Adams wasn't all that happy with it either and wanted to re-write it, but passed away before he could do so.
