In conclusion...

Thank goodness I finally got a day off in which I can actually do things. Though my bedroom's not getting any cleaner, and I know I'll still feel icky after my shower as I'm not allowed to actually use shampoo on my hair for at least another day (I got it straightened on Saturday, W00T!!! I love it so far, I'm just hoping it'll last more than a few days. It was STILL trying to curl even after having the relaxer rinsed off O_O.) But at least I'm getting stuff done here, and that's important XD. I'm gonna try to respond to all the comments I've gotten in the past few days. I'm sorry again that I haven't really been around, this plagiarism thing hit me fast, hard, and totally unexpectedly, and work, while easier than it could've been, has been draining.

Not that work'll get any better... [tries to steel self for the Rewards drive, and two months of working her arse off and working all weekends]

Anyway, I have tons of emails to read, backlogged from my week with my babeh, and lots of comments to get to, so I'm gonna try to do that. I hope everyone can be patient with me just a little longer while I play catch-up, and thanks to all of you for supporting me the past few days!

And as for anyone who's curious about the outcome of the plagiarism battle, everything seems to have reached some sort of end, and I've posted my final thoughts on the matter here. If anyone has anything they'd like to add, feel free, but I'm hoping anything that's said from here on in continues in as rational a vein as most of you have used. To tell the truth, the only people I saw in all of this that came even remotely close to flaming were Data's supporters. And while I can somewhat understand where they're coming from, I don't feel that's any excuse for their behavior or unfounded accusations. But whatever. What's done is done, and as I said, the people who REALLY matter already know what's right. This could've been a lot worse, and the whole farce did give me some morbid satisfaction. [evil grin]

Morbid satisfaction is always the best kind.

Hey there. I didn't post on the board because I figured you were more than capable of defending yourself, and I didn't want to make the (frankly ridiculous) cries of 'bandwagon' and 'flame war' any louder.

But kudos for the way you handled it [respectful bow] and I hope things get back to normal now! If it's okay, I'd like to add you to my friends list!

Also - curly hair, I hate having curly hair, and I keep it short so it can't curl. I want straight hair! ;D
